Jayachandran (Jaya) Bhaskaran, Managing Director

A seasoned semiconductor professional with over 30 years of entrepreneurial expertise, is widely recognized in the global semiconductor arena. Jaya works within Oxbow’s semiconductor platform. Commencing his career at TECH Semiconductor, he made pivotal contributions to the inception of Singapore’s inaugural 200mm wafer fab.

Jayachandran’s influential journey continued with his many operational and technology expert roles at 1st Silicon Malaysia, where he played a vital part in its early successes. At Chartered Semiconductor, he was a trailblazer in establishing a 300mm waferfab, while simultaneously porting 130nm copper technology from 200mm to 300mm. His impressive tenure at Infineon Technologies saw him ascend from Senior Principal to Senior Vice-President, overseeing various facets, including the management of automotive micro-controller production and expanding to lead all outsourcing silicon foundry business.

Jayachandran’s academic accomplishments include a Master of Engineering from the National University of Singapore, complemented by a noteworthy array of awards and patents. Jaya continues to leave an indelible mark on the semiconductor industry through his enduring commitment and technical excellence through expert panels and invited talks.
