Over his career, Loren has completed over $2.0 billion in corporate finance transactions. Prior to Oxbow Industries, Loren was a Principal/Shareholder & Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Craig-Hallum Capital Group. Prior to Craig-Hallum, he was Director of Private Equity for Goldsmith Agio Helms. Loren started his investment banking career as a Vice-President in Mergers and Acquisitions at Dain Rauscher. He began his professional career as an attorney and was a Partner at Leonard, Street & Deinard, a major Minneapolis based law firm. Loren holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota. Loren is a member of the Board of Directors of: SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. Innoflex Corporation, SixSpeed, LLC, Town & Country Fence, LLC, and Pool Distribution, LLC. He is a former board member of Hydro Engineering and Q4 Holdings, LLC
Bart L. Zibrowski, Operating Partner
Bart has over 30 years of experience in a number of executive positions, focusing on his financial background. For the first ten years of his career, Bart was a Senior Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen, focusing on advisory services to many closely held entities in numerous industries. Following that experience, Bart spent over 20 years in executive management roles for two local, family-owned businesses; McGough Companies and Meritex Enterprises. Bart’s focus in these entities was on transaction structuring for real estate developments, securing capital for real estate developments and operating activities, and managing and operating various elements of each company. Most recently, Bart has been active in assisting private equity firms in acquisitions and operations of target companies. Bart currently serves as the Executive Vice President and CFO of SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. following the acquisition of the company from Cypress Semiconductor. Bart is a CPA (Inactive) and specializes in operational transformation, transaction structuring and financing, in addition to tax planning and analysis for closely held entities. Bart has experience with structuring and financing projects with unique sources, such as public financing, new market tax credits, rehabilitation tax credits, and others. Bart holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business. Bart is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, and is an active Director on the United Hospital Foundation Board, and a co-chair of an Allina Health Philanthropy Committee.
Tom Pesek, Managing Director
Prior to joining Oxbow, Tom was President and Shareholder at Frandsen Corporation. In his twenty plus years at Frandsen, Tom oversaw all aspects of over forty acquisitions/divestitures taking them from identification, negotiation and closing through integration and full operation. Frandsen Corporation is a privately held conglomerate of manufacturing, financial services and real estate operations. Tom also worked at Target Corporation in Finance (Mergers and Acquisitions) and US Bank in commercial lending. He has a B.A. degree from The University of St. Thomas (summa cum laude) and a MBA from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota.
Dean deBuhr, Senior Managing Director.
brings a wealth of executive experience to Oxbow Industries. Previously
Mr. deBuhr held the position of President and CEO of Master Protection,
the largest fire suppression service company in North America, where he
grew the company to record sales and income in a three year span. He
also negotiated a successful sale of the company to Tyco, Inc upon his
departure. Prior to Master Protection, Mr. deBuhr served as Vice
President of Professional Products at Ecolab Corporation. At Ecolab, he
oversaw 3000 employees and managed over $350 million in revenue. Prior
to Ecolab, Mr. deBuhr was President and COO of Sparta Brush, Inc. and
Vice President of Sales at Rubbermaid. Mr. deBuhr holds a BAE with a
Business minor from Nebraska State University. Mr. deBuhr is Chairman
of the Board of Perrin Manufacturing.
Sarra A. Cruz, Customer Service/Web Site Coordinator
to joining Oxbow Industries, Mrs. Cruz was an office manager for
AccuWare Inc. establishing her office and accounts payable/receivable
skills; Mrs. Cruz has spent over 10 years in Administrative positions.
Mrs. Cruz spent time in the Marine Corps. She was stationed in Yuma, AZ
at the Marine Corps Air Station from 1993 to 1997 and provided training
support to over 250 Marines. During her time at the Air Station she
also gathered statistical information of the maintenance records of
over 60 Aircraft. One of Mrs. Cruz's accomplishments is receiving the
Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal for her role in training Marines.
